4   Using Geofences

A Geofence is a circular area surrounding a point of interest. This may be any point on the map, for example a customer, Depot, town etc. The radius of Geofence can be set either by entering the radius in Miles/Kilometres or visually sizing in the map view using the mouse to expand the circle to the desired size.
Geofences can only be entered or changed when logged in as an administrator.

In normal operational mode, geofences are displayed on the map as below, provided the geofence box,accessed via the Geofences button on the menu bar, has been ticked.

Once a geofence is set up, reports can be generated as vehicles enter or leave.
